Cultural understanding as a fragment of teacher’s training programs like NPTT and B.ED.


Teacher Training is correlated with the intellectual approach to education which should promote the foundation of one’s own cultural identity which can play an important role in developing intercultural sensitivity among one another.

Cultural awareness is the first step towards building a culturally responsive approach to teaching methodologies.

According to the National Education Association (NEA) cultural competence is, understanding your own culture, other’s culture and the role of culture in education field related courses like NPTT and B.ED.
