It’s the children in the 21st century that will carry forward the ethnicity and put in to the expansion of humanity. Educationists these days consider that 60-70% of the awareness that a child acquires is for the period of the age of 5-6 years. Though the mother is a child’s first teacher, but once the child enters school it is the real teachers who take over their education and remain there gurus for a lifetime, therefore the teachers need to be given the right kind of training. This guidance can be separated into Montessori, kindergarten, nursery, secondary, higher secondary and technical training. Teachers training include courses like D.Ed., B.Ed. and M.Ed. which can be done after a graduation in BA/B.Com/B.Sc. These courses can be full time classroom, distance mode or even on-line in some cases.

In spite of having a number of Nursery Teacher Training Institutes in Delhi, there is a constant demand for Teachers' Training Courses especially the ones that lay more focus and stress on the English language. The pattern for teaching English is more advanced and application oriented. There is a lot of attention paid to the core areas of the language. They are – reading, writing, listening and speaking. Each part has a separate coaching and guidance involved. There are modules that take up each part individually and the teachers are guided and taught by highly professional staff. A course in teacher training is internationally recognized and has a global value. It also enables women to open their own pre- schools.

The whole construct of this course is to make sure that there is a benefit to both- the teachers and the students. The concept of the course lays stress on not only the theoretical aspect of learning but also the practical side of it. Teacher training course mostly holds advantage in the pre- primary and the primary level. The teacher training course should have both electrical and historical aspect. There is a lot of focus on the theoretical aspect and emphasis is also laid on the equipment handling techniques especially the Montessori apparatus and Material aids. The course enables the teachers to know management and Computer Aided Teaching techniques.
